Total Body Dance (est 2012) an energizing cardio-dance workout for all levels.
Engaging choreography set to great music, complemented by stretching and toning exercises...it's fun and challenging for your body, mind, and spirit!
No prior dance experience necessary - ALL LEVELS WELCOME (13+)
Sweat away stress, learn/reinforce basic dance technique and improve your posture, flexibility, cardio, muscle strength and brain health.
All in a warm and welcoming environment.

What to wear:
- Sneakers, jazz shoes, or dance sneakers...comfortable sneakers work just fine. Please carry your CLEAN dancin' shoes in to protect the fabulous new wood floors!
- Clothes you can move & sweat in. Always a good idea to have a layers for warm-up that you can take off as you heat up.
Don't forget a water bottle!

Sarah Swain is passionate about the universal healing power of dance, especially in a joyful group setting. She is trained in classical ballet, jazz, and modern and has taught dance for over 25 years. She has danced with Marblehead School of Ballet, Eveoke Dance Theater in San Diego, Jeannette Neill Dance in Boston, Gravity Dance Co, and DancEnergy in Marblehead, MA. Sarah created Total Body Dance in 2012 as a way to offer a challenging dance workout that is accessible to people of different levels of expertise and ability.
Sarah has also been certified through the Mark Morris Dance Group in NYC as a 'Dance for PD' teacher to facilitate dance for people living with Parkinsons Disease.

Sarah is also a local musician (Sarah Swain & The Oh Boys) and owns and operates the Frying Pan Gallery (Wellfleet/Orleans) with her husband Steve. They live year-round in East Harwich with their 3 children and menagerie of animals.
